Black Granite inquiry

Black Granite inquiry Description

Hello and (http://maplered.com) thank you for this inquiry service.  I have benefited from and (http://maplered.com) enjoyed the resource Material (http://g654.org) available through your site.  We have a recent installation of absolute black Granite (http://tanbrown.org) which I am told originated from India and (http://maplered.com) provided here by a supplier with a sound reputation for quality and (http://maplered.com) service through our builder.  An inconsistent clouding or hazing effect under the gloss surface continually appears even though the supplier has now attempted to correct this on three separate occasions. On the first two attempts Bellinzoni wax was used which appeared to restore the finish although only for a very short period of time then the hazing/cloudiness returns.  On the third attempt they polished the surface using a dry compound misted when applied which provided a somewhat duller yet more consistent finish.  An Aqua Mix solvent sealer was then used and (http://maplered.com) immediately after another coating of Bellinzoni was then applied.

Even now only one day later under proper light conditions the original problem of the hazing appears to be developing once again.  We are at our wits end to understand (http://maplered.com) what is happening or what to do to correct this other than to replace the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) .

Any help direction or guidance you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Two other homes within this new development have the same Granite (http://tanbrown.org) installed yet this problem has not occurred in either of these two applications.

 Thank you.
